What Does The Gentle Gel Cleanser Do?

An all-star cleanser - it cleans the skin as it removes make–up and surface dirt, moderates oil secretion and helps to even out skin tone.

A perfect addition to your daily skincare regime if you have oily, problematic or congested skin (hello hormonal breakouts). A lovely all round cleanser for dry or dehydrated skin, even sensitive skin babes will find this cleanser effective, but gentle enough for their skin. 

What's The Blend, Texture and Smell Like?

The texture is a plump, clear-gel texture. When you add water she turns into a slight foam - perfect for buffing away the day.

The smell will make you feel like you're at a day spa for a lush treatment - fresh and citrusy with hints of lime, orange and bergamot. 

Our vegan formula means you can feel really good about using products that are ethically created and sustainably sourced.

In a word; yes! This cleanser combines the gentle (yet highly effective) cleansing power of White Willow Bark Extract with the fruit enzymes of Papaya and Pineapple PLUS the powerhouse ingredients of Australian native Lilli Pilli and Juniper Berry extracts to form one mama of a cleanser.

As Queen Street Apothecary was created by two pro make-up artists, we wanted a cleanser that got the job done right, the first time and we are so happy with this formula.

Active Ingredients

White Willow Bark
Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Extract is a natural source of Salicylic Acid, a beta-hydroxy acid that exfoliates superficial skin cells, removing dead skin and cleaning pores to leave a smoother texture and surface.

Papaya
A supercharged skin brightening exfoliator. Papain, a proteolytic enzyme found in Papaya, which effectively removes all dead skin. It also helps to remove daily build-up and excess oil secretions to cleanse pores, helps to clarify the skin and could help in reducing acne.

Pineapple
It contains a powerful enzyme called bromelain, which can break down and help sweep away dead skin cells. Ascorbic acid in pineapple helps to clarify skin and even out skin tone.

Lilli Pilli
This superfood berry and Australian native ingredient is a powerhouse. It helps to improve the appearance of healthy skin, tightens the skin and reduces the appearance of fine lines.

Suitable For

Our Gentle Gel Enzyme Cleanser is suitable for all skin types (including sensitive skin) but is particularly beneficial for oily, blemished or congested skins. It’s safe for use in pregnancy and breastfeeding.

How To Use

Gently massage in circular motions onto damp skin, avoiding eye area. Rinse away with warm water or a face cloth. For best results, follow with our toner, your favourite serum or elixir, and moisturiser. This cleanser is perfect for morning and night use.

Heavenly skin

My skin has never been cleaned so well and so gently! All the love and care has gone into this cleanser; it still thoroughly cleanses whilst keeping all the goodness in your skin. Doesn’t dry it out, doesn’t leave a layer of anything, just good, pure cleansing! My skin feels like it’s in heaven!

This really makes exfoliating easy as it is normally something I mean to do but often forget, but now every few days when cleansing at night I add some of this powder and afterwards my skin is silky smooth and feels so clean. Definitely recommend this, especially if you are short on time as you can combine with your cleanser.
